| Kizzy is a complete gift - the most beautiful puppy who came to us 10 months after our beloved Seana died in a terrible car crash. She is Seana's niece, daughter of Seana's half sister, Polly, and Gaye McKiernan's lovely boy, Shock.
She is FULL of energy and attitude, constantly keen to engage whether with me, the furry family, for training games, runs around the block, visits to friends, travel interstate or locally, appearances at our training club and trials or, really, any fun on offer. Her great aunt and uncle (Steph and Tasi) have whipped her into shape (did I mention attitude?) and Raff continues to show commendable tolerance.
Kizzy has performed well at her very few conformation outings. More importantly (well at least for us), her training is coming along brilliantly. She loves our fun and games and always participates 100% in everything we do together, continuously demonstrating the curious engaged intelligence typical of our Lindenbrae line dogs. Kizzy stars at our Border Collie Club of Victoria meet the breed events - she particularly loves children, constantly showing gentle, loving restraint in her interactions with them.
Kizzy has participated in Rally, Tricks and Sprintdog events, earning two Rally titles and passes in both Tricks and Sprintdog. She has also had an encouraging introduction to herding, engaging enthusiastically in beginning to learn the ways of sheepwork. We are both looking to additional lessons next month. |
